Village Farm and Agricultural Development details
A Proposal to assist individual landowners to increase the productive use of their land assests to increase family and village stability
Purpose: 60-70% of the individually owned land is fallow because individual owners lack the resources and even knowledge and skills to utilize their own land resources
To provide for them their needs in food grains or money
To help people to take advantage of their own ground resources
While making ground more productive
Longer term so that their own ground will be more sustainable and productive
This will also provide a longer term goal of land stability around the villages of Scheia
Grow tiotal acreage to 150-200 HA tillable and crop (agriculture area that is owned by many village residents) each own ½ to 4 acres
Contract between Seed of Hope Ministries and individual landowners
85%of the owners don't have the means to work their own land assets
SOHM will farm the ground in exchange for cash payment or wheat/grain returned.
Results Provide wheat, corn, canola, soya with stability for the family who cannot work their own fields
Employ 3-4 men workers from among the landowners to work the fileds

Learn Agricultural technologies and Practices:
Village children and adults will learn technology and skills of agricultural production
Children and adults will learn mechanic skills for agrcilutlure and road automobiles
The farm will continue to expand the workshops and training programs
If family food is produced and stable, then the family can concentrate on gardening and small business entrepreneur activities
These agricultural businesses will include livestock and pultry production,
The potential is there to assist village residents to improve genetic quality and efficiency.

The SOHM model farm is focused in change the hungry status of people along with practical agricultural and evangelism education desiring their best. The farm is an oasis of hope wherefrom every seed planted is a seed of hope in people hearts with the nobil of desires - better life on this earth for people preparing also for the eternity with God"
Located in Scheia, 21 miles south from Iasi, Romania, the family farm it has been created to fullfil a need in the poor community. The farm is dedicated to grow crops and work the people's land that do not have the posibility to work it. Since year 2000 we have concentrate our eforts to provide for the local community agricultural seminars, christian principles combined with a comprehensive practical lessons about agriculture. We have done that so that people begin to learn more so that they can produce vegetables and crops for their own families. Things have been changed positevly but all step by step. What ever 50 of communism destroyed can only be buid back in small but solid steps.
Because of the economical situation and most of the land divided in very small pices of land ( 0.5- 3 acres) we have deliberated after years to consider working these lands all together.
The SOHM farm is christian model farm dedicated to feeding the hungry by working poor peoples land and together with them to make a difference in their lives. We are a ministries that colaborate with all brothers and sisters to experince felloswhip enjoing the beauthy of God's creation and the power of His word to change lives.
The farm is working arround 110 acres at the moment and desire to work another 280 acres of land in one body helping the widows and very poor families providing to them the food from the crops.
Also knowing that the futures lies in the future of our childrens we have comited for years now to constantly provide agricultural, mechanichal, sowing, know-how workshops that are combined with Bible study and christian principles of running a business.
At SOHM farm local people learn also about animal nutrition, siloge solutions, animal emergency intervention along with social christian interaction in their villages.Here community members learn how to protect and rejuvenate their land , water and other resources.
At SOHM farm young people are empowered with skills, tools, opportunities of practical work on agricultural machineries and involving them to affect a positivechange in their lives and the community where they live.
Inside SOHM structure ther is a Teenager- Young People Initiative( TYPI ) where we have taken steps to adress the challenges facing young people in the areas were we work.
The farm need support in purchase agricultural machineris without which we can not continue our work. The actual international crises has been brought up to desperation hundreds and hundrends of people and as we try to find solutions for the hungry at the moment is as fast as we can to startt more of land that for years could not be worked out from lack of agricultural machineries.
