A little about the villages of Scheia and Romania
The village of Scheia is situated 30 miles South West of Iasi city. Iasi is the second largest city in Romania. The village of Scheia is formed from other little satellite villages located along and around the main central village with roads datin back more than 600 years. The entire population is around 3600 people from where more than 50% are children and young adults. The topography of Scheia village is hilly rather than flat plains. Altitudes around 250-390 meters high. About 4000 hectors (8000 acres) are for agriculture and pasture land. Click here to learn more
The family of Iacob Titi
Iacob Titi's heartfelt goals are to reach the educational, social and cultural needs of the Scheia population. Our ministry is focused on reaching the children and adults challenged by poverty, chronic illness and handicaps. SOHM's purpose is to address practical needs to show the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe in change. People change and it all starts from the heart. Planting a seed of hope and cultivating it, watering it with love and appreciation in abundance will produce fruitful growth that will help our country and the future of its children. Our example is guided after an old motto... "IF NOT NOW, THAN WHEN... IF NOT US, THAN WHO". We are blessed to see the changes that gradually replace the many years of "infection" by communism and corruption.
Here at Seed of Hope Ministries we are commited to enlarge God's Kingdom. We believe that the primary responsibility for "training up a child..." belongs to the parents. We provide support to the parents though a variety of studies, classes, ministries and events. During other programs that we have for the community, our ministry provides a healthy, safe and open hearth enviroment for children and their families.
